Sie werden von Hand gesponnen, gefärbt, aufgespult, gewebt, versäubert, verpackt und versendet.
Über 80 Frauen haben auf diesem Weg ein regelmäßiges Einkommen und die zahlreichen Aktivitäten der Women's Foundation werden auf diese Weise unterstützt. Erfahren Sie hier mehr über die Women's Foundation.
Die Schals sind handgearbeitete Unikate, kleine Unebenheiten sind kein Reklamationsgrund.

The fine pashmina, wool and silk scarves are created in the Women's Foundation.
They are spun, dyed, spooled, woven, finished, packed and dispatched by hand.
Over 80 women earn a regular income this way and the numerous activities of the Women's Foundation are supported in this way. Find out more about the Women's Foundation here.

Die Mönche und Nonnen der buddhistischen Klöster in Kathmandu tragen Schals als Übergewand in dieser Größe.
Sie sind 107 cm x 240 cm groß und ideal geeignet für Yoga und Meditation,
auf der Couch als Nierenwärmer gewickelt und als Allrounder wenn es kühl wird.
Jedes mal, wenn ich neue Schals in dieser Größe bei der Women's Foundation weben lasse, probieren wir etwas Neues und Anderes aus. Aber alle sind super kuschelig und warm, denn aus 100% feinster Wolle gewebt.

Every time I have new scarves woven in this size at the Women's Foundation, we try something new and different. But all of them are super cozy and warm, because they are woven from 100% finest wool.

Diese Schals sind ohne Muster gewebt, einige noch (preisreduziert) in sehr zarter Qualität, die anderen sogar mit Fransen.

Dieses rot-weiße Tuch wird von den Laienpraktizierenden der Nyingma Tradition des tibetischen Buddhismus während ihrer Praxis, oder bei Belehrungen getragen. Es ist ein großes stabiles Baumwolle Tuch und - ganz wichtig!! - waschfest, also das Rot färbt nicht aus!
Auf dem Foto ist Minka Hauschild mit Lopön Norbu Gyatso von der Sechen Monastery, der mir den Segen erteilt hat, das Tuch zu tragen.

This red and white shawl is worn by lay practitioners of the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism during their practice or teachings. It is a large, sturdy cotton scarf and - very important! - washable, so the red does not fade!

Pflegehinweise Care instructions
· Sollte der Schal nach dem Auspacken noch ein wenig nach der Färbung riechen lüften Sie ihn für einen Tag.
· Lüften - das ist besser als waschen.
· Wenn sich Flöckchen bilden - hilft eine Samtbürste gegen Wollfussel.
· Reinigen Sie ihn in Handwäsche mit einem mildem Wollwaschmittel.
· Bügeln Sie den Schal auf Stufe 1-2 mit viel Dampf!! Das mögen sie gerne.
Es versiegelt die Fasern und lässt sie wieder leuchten.
· Um ihn wieder zu glätten, hängen Sie ihn im feuchten Badezimmer auf.
· Vorsicht bei Reißverschlüssen! Wenn dieser einen Faden herauszieht, ziehen Sie ihn
auf die ganze Breite des Schals wieder glatt.
· Wenn sich am Ende ein Faden löst, ziehen Sie diesen langsam ganz heraus.
· Flecken? Die Farbe ist waschfest.
Ausprobieren was geht.
- If the scarf still smells a little of the dye after unpacking, air it for a day.
- Airing is better than washing.
- If fuzz forms - a velvet brush helps to remove wool fuzz.
- Wash it by hand with a mild wool detergent.
- Iron the scarf on level 1-2 with plenty of steam! You like that.
- It seals the fibers and makes them shine again.
- To smooth it out again, hang it up in a damp bathroom.
- Be careful with zippers! If the zipper pulls out a thread, pull it the entire width of the scarf.
- If a thread comes loose at the end, slowly pull it out completely.
- Stains? The color is washable.
- Try out what works.
