Sie ist der Elefant unter den 95 in Nepal tätigen Frauenorganisationen. Alteingesessen, hochrespektiert und das Schlachtschiff für Frauenrechte vor Gericht und in der Politik. Die Women's Foundation ist landesweit, vor allem in den Dörfern bekannt und aktiv. Sie haben sich für die Gleichstellung der Frau in der Verfassung stark gemacht. Dann wurden die für Frauenrechte relevanten Paragraphen der Verfassung in einfachen Worten formuliert und in den Dörfern verteilt, damit Frauen informiert sind.

Sie reiben sich die Hände und zerren freudvoll hohe und in der Öffentlichkeit bekannte Männer vor Gericht, wenn diese ihre Frau misshandeln. Es arbeiten vier Anwältinnen für die Women's Foundation.

Die Women's Foundation betreibt ein Mutter + Kind Haus um Frauen Schutz zu geben, erst recht in der Zeit, in der ihr Fall verhandelt wird.

Die Women's Foundation wird ausschliesslich von nepalesischen Frauen geführt.

Sie ist beliebt, bekannt, gefürchtet. Zurzeit arbeitet sie daran, die 95 tätigen Frauenorganisationen in einem Dachverband zu vereinen.

Die Produktion von edlen Schals, welche für den Export produziert werden, gibt der Women's Foundation eine solide wirtschaftliche Basis.

It is the elephant among the 95 women's organizations active in Nepal. Long-established, highly respected and the battleship for women's rights in court and in politics. The Women's Foundation is known and active throughout the country, especially in the villages. They have campaigned for women's equality in the constitution. Then the paragraphs of the constitution relevant to women's rights were formulated in simple terms and distributed in the villages so that women are informed.

They rub their hands together and happily drag high-ranking and well-known men to court if they mistreat their wives. There are four lawyers working for the Women's Foundation.

The Women's Foundation runs a Mother + Child House to provide protection for women, especially while their cases are being heard.

The Women's Foundation is run exclusively by Nepalese women.

It is popular, well-known and feared. It is currently working on uniting the 95 women's organizations in an umbrella organization.

The production of fine scarves for export gives the Women's Foundation a solid economic basis.

Unsere lokalen Projektpartner sind erfahrene Grassroot Organisationen, die engagiert und unermüdlich vor Ort im Einsatz sind, mit direktem Kontakt und Vernetzung in der Bevölkerung.

Sukha helps where we know our way around. Aid projects have blossomed through 30 years of tour guiding to the same places in India and Nepal. Be it the earthquake aid 2015 in Nepal, or the food distribution in the famine caused by the Corona Lockdown's in Northern India and Nepal. Our local project partners are experienced grassroots organisations that are committed and tirelessly working on the spot, with direct contact and networking among the population.
